With that, we are able to continue in supplying our incredibly vital customer base in many markets to support the fight against COVID-19. At this time, we are following and watching the CDC guidelines very closely to ensure we are doing absolutely everything possible to keep our workforce healthy and safe. Atop of these guidelines, we have established additional steps regarding facility sanitation, personal hygiene needs to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria, strict social distancing, restricted access for visitation, and ensuring ill individuals are staying home to get well. These steps will continue indefinitely.
We also remain open for new business – especially takeover opportunities. At Manitowoc Tool, we excel in takeover tooling. With our in-house tool and die capabilities, we can take on existing tooling and retrofit it to fit our equipment. We have capacity, and the fire power to help you with any project – big or small. Last year, we assisted one of loyal and trusted customers in taking over 75 stamping dies (80-part numbers). We had the tools retrofitted, and all parts fully PPAP’d in less than 2-weeks.
