Check out our BRAND-NEW Chevalier Grinder! We have recently made large investments into our production stamping operation with the addition of 4 new stamping presses – and the reinvestment isn’t stopping there. Our goal of maximizing efficiency in our plant means in every aspect – most certainly inclusive of our Tool and Die Department. We recently installed our new Chevalier Grinder to aid in the build and maintenance of our tools and dies. This machine is a great addition to our tool room to assist in reducing lead-time on new tool builds, as well as minimizing down time maintaining our tooling to ensure quality parts for our customers.
Here at Manitowoc Tool, we are grateful to have the capabilities, expertise, and experience of more than 20 certified Journeyman Tool & Die Makers on our staff. In addition, we have a crew of 4 Tool Designers who are dedicated to the design of new tooling. The entire process from design through tool trial and PPAP approval is in our hands – offering us the opportunity for shorter tooling lead-times and ensuring the quality level our customers expect.
